#FEBRUARYCREATIVEPROMPTCHALLENGE DAY 10 IS ALL ABOUT BRIGHTS!
Hello and welcome to my blog today,
Today I am showing some love for the well-loved MEANT TO BE STAMP SET and a fun ombre style #simplestamping technique using three colours from our BRIGHTS collection
Creating my own background designs for my cards has always been one of my favourite things to do and it's a great way to add your own style with colours and patterns. For this card I have used two heart images from the MEANT TO BE STAMP SET and stamped in an ombre style, starting with the darkest colour at the top and moving down to the lightest.
#FEBRUARYCREATIVEPROMPTCHALLENGE DAY 8 IS ALL ABOUT MY FAVOURITE COLOUR; MINT MACARON!
Hello and welcome to my blog today,
Today's #februarycreativepromptchallenge is "favourite colour" and mine is MINT MACARON!.
I have had this card idea in my head for a few days now and I'm so excited to see it come to life and share it with you all. I have used the brand new HANDSOMELY SUITED BUNDLE of products to create this super fun Easel Card design, and there is even a VIDEO TUTORIAL!
#FEBRUARYCREATIVEPROMPTCHALLENGE DAY 4 IS ALL ABOUT GRATITUDE
Hello and welcome to my blog today,
Today I am sharing a card design that I have created for day 4 of the #februarycreativepromptchallenge which is all about GRATITUDE and I've gone straight to the SNAILED IT STAMP SET AND SNAIL DIES BUNDLE that as stolen my heart and creative spirit since it arrived earlier this week!
I have created my slimline card design using layers of SMOKY SLATE, REAL RED AND BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK.
Onto the front layer of BASIC WHITECARDSTOCK, I have created layers of smoky slate ink firstly using a piece from the DANDY LASER CUT PAPER as my stencil with a BLENDING BRUSH to create a lovely pattern. Onto that, I have added some first, second and third generation stamping with the "hello" sentiment and adding a splash of smoky slate ink from a SMOKY SLATE STAMPIN BLENDS PEN.
For my main feature, I have stamped, coloured and die cut two images from the SNAILED IT STAMP SET before adding to my card. The snail has been attached with STAMPIN DIMENSIONALS to raise and I have added a splash of POOL PARTY INK to the shell.
To add in some extra texture to my card I have layered some red and white stripe ribbon (from the PLAYFUL PETS TRIM COMBO PACK) and added the die-cut speech bubble over the top.
For my sentiment, I have added "thank you so much" from the MOVING ALONG STAMP SET that I have heat embossed onto BASIC BLACK CARDSTOCK using WHITE STAMPIN' EMBOSS POWDER.
I created this card during a recent Facebook Live demonstration, which is now available on my YouTube page. Click on the image below to watch back. Don't forget to hit subscribe to be notified of future tutorials from me!
