Today I am showing some love for the well-loved MEANT TO BE STAMP SET and a fun ombre style #simplestamping technique using three colours from our BRIGHTS collection
Creating my own background designs for my cards has always been one of my favourite things to do and it's a great way to add your own style with colours and patterns. For this card I have used two heart images from the MEANT TO BE STAMP SET and stamped in an ombre style, starting with the darkest colour at the top and moving down to the lightest.
When creating this ombre look, it's important to not stamp in straight lines and instead muddle your layers of colour together. You can see how I achieved this look in the YouTube video below.
This is definitely one of those card designs that is quite timeless and would look fab in any colour combination and pattern choice.
I always like to show the card design that we are going to make at the beginning of my Facebook Live demonstrations so here they are together; my before and after! The only difference is that I've added a different set of words underneath my "Love"!
