Hand Delivered take four...

in , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 27, 2019
Hi all,

Card number 4 using the Hand Delivered Stamp Set and another using the Yellow, Grey and Purple colour combination that matches the card I shared yesterday.

For this one, I have used the banner image instead of the balloons, and added some flowers to match the skirt.

I have added a background strip of Basic Black cardstock that I have edged with the White Stampin' Chalk Marker which I think really makes the black pop even more.

I have stamped the flowers onto the Smoky Slate cardstock and coloured with the same Stampin' Blends.

These two cards look great together as a set, and I'm excited to send them out to friends with birthdays coming very soon!

Hi all,

Day 3 of my Hand Delivered Stamp Set showcase and some of my favourite yellow and grey.  To mix it up a little, I've added PURPLE!!  Or Highland Heather to be precise.....

Starting with a C6 card base using Crushed Curry A4 cardstock, I have added a layer of Smoky Slate cardstock, and a strip of monochrome spotty paper from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers.  These papers are currently FREE when you place an order of £45 and are only available while stocks last!

The body and balloons images have been stamped onto Whisper White cardstock, coloured in with Stampin' Blends and cut out.  I have added some light lines using a White Stampin' Chalk Marker and attached to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals to raise.

For the sentiment, I have stamped "Happy Birthday", cut around and attached to the balloons.

Introducing the Hand Delivered hostess stamp set...

in , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 25, 2019

Hi all,

Half term is over and what a week it was!  London, Natural History Museum, cinema, pizza, shopping, soft play, catching up with friends, dance workshops, coffee, cake, trips to the park....and to finish it off....chicken pox for my youngest!  I hope you noted that at no point did I say "crafting time for Mummy!"  So today I am sharing a card with you that I made a short while ago and haven't gotten around to posting, and good job I had some saved up or I would be MIA for another week.  We did have a wonderful half term break though and I will miss all the fun, no routine or alarms!

For this card, I have used the very clever Hand Delivered Stamp Set that is so very useful and as I have discovered really easy to use!  This stamp set can only be bought with Stampin' Rewards that can be earnt for FREE! At the moment, until the end of March, Stampin' Up! are giving their hosts £20 more Stampin' Rewards when orders total £200 or more!

This card has been made using a standard C6 card base in Bermuda Bay cardstock.  I have cut a hole in the top Crumb Cake layer using the new Stitched Rectangles Framelits DiesBefore attaching, I have layered a piece of Whisper White cardstock underneath.

Onto the Whisper White cardstock, I have stamped the main image of the lady.  The balloons have been stamped onto a seperate piece of Whisper White, coloured in with Stampin' Blends markers, cut out and attached using Stampin' Dimensionals to raise.  I have used a White Stampin' Chalk Marker to hand-draw the lines on the balloons

The sentiments have been stamped onto the Crumb Cake layer, die-cut using the Well Written Framelits Dies in Basic Black cardstock and heat-embossed onto Basic Black cardstock using White Stampin' Emboss Powder.

To finish, I have added some Coastal Cabana Glitter Enamel Dots!

Happy birthday with Fable Friends

in , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 23, 2019
Hi all,

A few days of silence from me can only mean one thing....a busy half term with my girls and chicken pox for my youngest!!

I have managed a "teeny" bit of crafting this week thanks to my craft group, and this week my lovely friend and team member bought the gorgeous Fable Friends Stamp Set along to play with.

I have used a masking technique to layer the characters infront and behind one another and coloured in using Stampin' Blends.

To bring the card together, I have sponged the edges using Crumb Cake ink, added a thin hand-drawn border and added the banners (mainly to cover up an ink splodge that was a "happy accident")

FULL PRODUCT LIST
- Crumb Cake Cardstock (for the cardbase)
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Fable Friends Stamp Set
- Pick a Pennant Stamp Set
- Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
- Stampin' Blends Markers
- Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker
- Classic Stampin' Pads - Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry

Hi all,

I often find male cards quite challenging to put together, much like many other crafters I know.  Now that we have the Family and Friends Stamp Set I have enjoyed putting together more personal male cards to mark a number of occasions.

This birthday card has been put together using some block stamping to create the block of colour that you see behind the character.  For this, take an acryllic block, add ink from a Classic Stampin' Pad and then spritz with a Stampin' Spritzer.  Place the block onto the card, push down gently so that the ink spreads out, leave for a few minutes and then remove the block.

On this card, I have used an Aqua Painter with a lighter ink pad to draw a line around the block to soften the colour.

I have created the character using the Family and Friends Stamp Set, coloured in with Stampin' Blends, cut out and then attached to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals to raise.

The sentiment comes from the Amazing Life Stamp Set and I have used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad for this.

Thank you so very much

in , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 17, 2019
Hi all,

Today I am sharing with you the Thank You Notecards I have put together for February customers.

Have you seen the Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes in the Annual Catalogue? The notecards measure 6.4cm x 11.4cm so are great for when you want to send a simple note to someone.

I have re-created the notecards from Basic Black Cardstock for these Thank You cards and used a selection of punched layers for the main feature.  I have used the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet for the Starburst shape which is currently a FREE Level 1 Sale-a-a ration item that has been really popular with customers so much so that isn’t is nearly SOLD OUT!

The Butterfly image comes from the SOLD OUT Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and I have chosen to leave it uncoloured to fit in with the monochrome colour theme I have gone with.

The sentiment also comes from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and I have heat embossed it onto the cardfront using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder

Inside the card I have added a layer of Whisper White Cardstock to write my message of thanks on.

What do you think?

Hi all,

One of my favourite things to do for my customers is to make sure their orders are decorated in a nice way when handing them out. I am really lucky to have a number of my customers living close by so it’s even better being able to give them out in person!

For these orders that I have out at this months card class, I used a selection of ribbon and some decorated tags using the FREE HELLO CUPCAKE STAMP SET

Anniversary team card and gift...

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 16, 2019
Hi all,

I am really lucky that I get to work with some amazing crafters who have become my friends. As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, some people have chosen to join Stampin’ Up! as part of my team. This means that I get to enjoy attending Stampin’ Up! events with my friends and see them grow their own businesses.

Today’s post is to showcase a recent matching card and gift I put together for a team member who celebrated her 3rd Anniversary with Stampin’ Up! In January. As she came along to team training this weekend I was able to present this to her and hopefully make her feel like the special person that she is.

I put together this frame art using the FREE Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers that I have layered in the background of the frame. The butterfly embellishments have been cut out of the DSP and I have watercoloured them with Mint Macaron ink and an Aqua Painter. I have layered them using some die-cuts from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies and some Black Metallic Thread.

The sentiment comes from the Amazing Life Stamp Set and I think says it all really.

For the card, I have used the same Monochrome colour combination with Mint Macaron along with another die-cut from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies and the Botanical Butterfly DSP.

The numbers come from a retired bundle of stamps and dies that I just can’t bear to part with because as you see they are just so useful and fabulous!

Valentine's isn't just about romance...well for me anyway...

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 14, 2019
Hi all,

I hope you're all well!  Finally the weekend, and the start of half term for me and my girls!

Yesterday I posted the card that I made for my husband to celebrate Valentine's Day but I also sent 4 other cards.  For me, Valentines isn't just about my husband, but about showing other special people in my life, how much they mean to me.

For these cards, I used the Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes along with some #simplestamping and strips of DSP.

As well as strips of DSP, I have used the Tailored Tag Punch to create the sentiment label.  I have cut another in Melon Mambo Cardstock, cut it in half and attached underneath so that you can see a border of the pink underneath.  I have attached it to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiments that I have used on the card front and the envelope are part of the Incredible Like You Stamp Set and I think they are just so fitting.  The font is just lovely too.

FULL PRODUCT LIST:
- Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Melon Mambo Cardstock
- Basic Black Cardstock
- Incredible Like You Stamp Set
- Tabs for Everything Stamp Set (the hear images)
- Amazing Life Stamp Set (the dot lines image)
- Tailored Tag Punch
- 2018-2020 In-Colour DSP in Lovely Lipstick

Happy Valentine's Day!

in , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 13, 2019
Hi all,

Today's card that I am sharing with you is one that I have given to my husband today to say "Happy Valentine's Day".  I find it really difficult to hit the mark with male cards but i'm really pleased with how this one has turned out.  I am a big fan of Emma Bridgewater china and I have taken inspiration from her with the dots and lettering for this one.

I have used the Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes for this project, and I have use the dot image from the Incredible Like You Stamp Set and stamped randomly in Lovely Lipstick Ink.

I have cut the scalloped circle using the Layering Circles Framelits Dies from Basic Black Cardstock, and plain edged circle in Whisper White.  "I Love You" comes from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set and I have used 1st and 2nd generation stamping to create the tones of Lovely Lipstick.

To finish, I have stamped the same sentiment onto Basic Black Cardstock using a Versamark Stampin' Pad, added White Stampin' Emboss Powder and used a Heat Tool to set.  I have cut the sentiment down into a small strip and attached to the card front.

As alsways, I can't bear to leave the envelope plan so I have again used 1st and 2nd generation stamping to create tones of the Lovely Lipstick colour.

PRODUCT LIST:
- Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Basic Black Cardstock
- Lovely Lipstick Classic Stampin' Pad
- Versamark Stampin' Pad
- White Stampin' Emboss Powder
- Heat Tool
Incredible Like You Stamp Set
- Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set
