Hi all,

No photo description available.
Welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!  For August our theme is Babies and Children.  If you are following todays' hop then you would have joined me from the ever so talented Artisan Design Team member Mikaela Titheridge.

I am so excited to be taking part in this blog hop and my project for today's theme is a 1st Birthday card that is also a take on an easel card.

For special cards, I always like to create something a bit more fun and a "fancy fold" is a great way to add some fun into your cards.  Like with all easel cards, this one folds entirely flat for popping into an envelope and sending!

I have used the Celebrate with Cake Photopolymer Stamp Set that is part of our Experience Creativity range of products.  This is a great stamp set and is perfect for using with your Stamparatus as it is a two-step stamp set.

I have chosen to use the 2019-2021 In Colour 6" x 6" DSP in Rococo Rose along with Basic Gray, Blushing Bride andh Whisper White for my colour theme. I have included the measurements at the bottom of this blog for you.

Thank you for hopping along with us today, I hope you liked my project for today's Babies and Children theme.  Click the "next blog" icon below to hop onto Melissa Tennison.

To create the card base I have used a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 5, 1/2" x 8, 1/2".  I have scored at 4, 1/8" and folded in half.

I have opened the card base up (landscape orientation) and cut at 1, 1/2" and 4" to the score line ONLY (this creates the three cut sections)

For the middle easel section, I have scored the 2, 1/8" from the score line.

To decorate, I have used two pieces of Rococo Rose Cardstock measuring 4" x 1, 3/8" attached to the two outer sections.  I have added two pieces of 019-2021 In Colour 6" x 6" DSP measuring 3, 7/8" x 1, 1/4"

For the middle section I have cut two pieces of Rococo Rose Cardstock measuring

Have a great day!

Hi all,

Welcome to the monthly Stamp N’ Blog Hop. This month’s theme is a Colour Combination. Who doesn’t love a colour challenge? It can really take us out of our comfort zone which can be a good thing. This colour challenge is a good one as we may not have thought to combine all the colours in a project before, and the addition of silver was lots of fun!

You have just arrived from Sandra Herzog. How fab was her project?!

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Stacey Marsh and I am a UK based Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I live in a small village called Lower Halstow in the County of Kent, which is known as the Garden of England! I have been a Demonstrator for almost 6 years and I love what crafting brings to my lift from a creative outlet to an opportunity to make friends for life and not to mention to amazing products that I get to create with!

For my entry into this Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop, I have chosen to make a card and 3D box to showcase how fan this colour combination looks! I have included a step-by-step tutorial video below for you to recreate my project!

I have used the Everything Amazing Photopolymer Stamp Set to create the stamped images on my project. This is a great stamp set for any crafter as it is easy to create simple yet effective cards in any colour combination! I would also say that this set is a great one for those tricky male cards.

For the card, I have stamped the large main image using a Versamark Stamping Pad, covered with Silver

Stampin' Emboss Powder and set with a Heat Tool. Using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, I have added the additional words "Wishing You An" and "Birthday". I have added the additional balloon, party hat and heart images with the additional colours around the main sentiment.

For the box, I have taken a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 7" x 8.25" and using the same colour /stamp combination, filled the sheet with stamping. I have changed the angle / direction of the images. Once scored, cut and glued, I have tied some 1cm Denim Ribbon and tied in a bow.

I have used the Starburst Punch to cut a piece of Blueberry Bushell Cardstock and attached to the front of the box using a Stampin' Dimensional. Using the 2" Circle Punch, I have cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I have stamped the individual sentiments "Birthday" and "Friend" using a Versamark Stamping Pad, added Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and set with a Heat Tool. The heart, balloon and party hat images have been stamped onto a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock, cut out and attached to the circle using a combination of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals. Once complete, I have attached the circle to the Blueberry Bushell Starburst shape already attached to the box.

Thank you for following today's Stamp N' Hop Blog Hop today. I hope that you have found inspiration to create your own project from us all. Please click on the Blog Roll below or the Next Arrow to hop along to Linda Handford, a fellow UK Demonstrator to check out her project! Don’t forget when visiting to leave them a little love with a like or a comment.
