Hi all,

Welcome to the monthly Stamp N’ Blog Hop. This month’s theme is a Colour Combination. Who doesn’t love a colour challenge? It can really take us out of our comfort zone which can be a good thing. This colour challenge is a good one as we may not have thought to combine all the colours in a project before, and the addition of silver was lots of fun!

You have just arrived from Sandra Herzog. How fab was her project?!

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Stacey Marsh and I am a UK based Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I live in a small village called Lower Halstow in the County of Kent, which is known as the Garden of England! I have been a Demonstrator for almost 6 years and I love what crafting brings to my lift from a creative outlet to an opportunity to make friends for life and not to mention to amazing products that I get to create with!

For my entry into this Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop, I have chosen to make a card and 3D box to showcase how fan this colour combination looks! I have included a step-by-step tutorial video below for you to recreate my project!

I have used the Everything Amazing Photopolymer Stamp Set to create the stamped images on my project. This is a great stamp set for any crafter as it is easy to create simple yet effective cards in any colour combination! I would also say that this set is a great one for those tricky male cards.

For the card, I have stamped the large main image using a Versamark Stamping Pad, covered with Silver

Stampin' Emboss Powder and set with a Heat Tool. Using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, I have added the additional words "Wishing You An" and "Birthday". I have added the additional balloon, party hat and heart images with the additional colours around the main sentiment.

For the box, I have taken a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 7" x 8.25" and using the same colour /stamp combination, filled the sheet with stamping. I have changed the angle / direction of the images. Once scored, cut and glued, I have tied some 1cm Denim Ribbon and tied in a bow.

I have used the Starburst Punch to cut a piece of Blueberry Bushell Cardstock and attached to the front of the box using a Stampin' Dimensional. Using the 2" Circle Punch, I have cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I have stamped the individual sentiments "Birthday" and "Friend" using a Versamark Stamping Pad, added Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and set with a Heat Tool. The heart, balloon and party hat images have been stamped onto a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock, cut out and attached to the circle using a combination of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals. Once complete, I have attached the circle to the Blueberry Bushell Starburst shape already attached to the box.

Happy Tails 3d fun...

in , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, July 31, 2019
Hi all,

As promised, today is the 2nd project that I have put together using the Happy Tails Photopolymer Stamp Set that I am excited to share with you.  It's always lots of fun to create something other than cards and this is something that I saw on Pinterest a short while ago that I have finally gotten round to making.  To see the original post, click HERE

This project would be a great gift to send alongside yesterday's card, and I would probably fill this with some sort of chocolates or treats (aren't they the best kind of gifts?!)

I created this 3d dog house using:

  • Basic Gray Cardstock measuring 6" x 10.5", scored (on the long side) at 2.5", 5", 7.5" and 10" then (on the short side) 1.75" and 4.75". To create the pointed sections, I used a ruler to find the mid-point on the 1st & 3rd top edge and scored diagonally.
  • Basic Black Cardstoc measuring 3" x 6", scored at 3" (on the long side).

For the decoration, I have stamped the dog image, and added the dots using the in-fill stamp and the collar.  I have used the Dog Builder Punch to cut out.

The grass detail that I have added round the sides of the dog house has been stamped using an image from the Over the Moon Stamp Set and fussy-cut out.

The bunting has been created by attaching a piece of Linen Thread using Mini Glue Dots, stamped and cut-out hearts and the sentiment that has been cut into word tiles.

This 3d dog house would be a great little gift to send to someone, or even to gift to a special doggie friend!
