Today I am sharing a set of notecards that I created during a recent Facebook Live Demonstration using the SUBTLES DESIGNER SERIES PAPERS and some white-on-white die cutting using the PERENNIAL PETALS DIES.
One of the things that I am super guilty of (and I don't think I am alone) is keeping hold of pieces of patterned paper for "just incase" I might need it so I wanted to share a technique to use up all those pieces we are saving for "just incase".
I have kept my colour palette super simple by adding the pieces to BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK, adding a little bit of background stamping and adding texture with some LINEN THREAD and GILDED GEMS!
For my first card layout, I have used a piece of SOFT SEA FOAM DSP that measures just 2cm x 14cm long, and the BLUSHING BRIDE piece measures just 5cm x 9.7cm.
And for the final two, a POOL PARTY piece measuring 6cm x 9.7cm, and the HIGHLAND HEATHER PIECE piece measures just 2cm x 14cm.
As mentioned earlier, this is a fab way of using up those smaller pieces of patterned paper (or even coloured cardstock) and is a great way of creating a matching set of notecards to use for a gift, or package up to sell at a craft fair or online event.
