PEACEFUL POPPIES NOTECARD SET WITH COPPER TEA TIN

Friday is here at last and today I am sharing with you a project that I made for a recent demonstrator event to showcase the Peaceful Poppies suite of products which I am a big fan of!

I had some spare Copper Tea Tins in my craft room so I have created a handy set of notecards and decorated one of the tins. These tins are ever so handy and look great when decorated. I have added a strip of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper with some die cutting and some watercoloured elements to match the cards inside.

I have based my project around the Peaceful Poppies Elements which is a fun addition to the suite. Within the set of elements you get:

2 sheets black die-cut elements with black foil prints: labels, banners, borders
2 sheets white thick cardstock die cuts with coloured prints: poppies
2 sheets vellum die cuts with white prints: poppies and leaves
2 sheets watercolour paper die cuts with clear UV prints for watercolouring: poppies and leaves

For my project, I have use the watercolour paper die-cuts which I have added the blue colour to using Watercolour Pencils and an Aqua Painter. I have layered them together with some of the vellum leaves.

Inside the tin, I have decorated some 3" square notecards which fit perfectly into the Whisper White 3" x 3" Envelopes. I have used a selection of sentiments from the Label Me Bold Stamp Set as well as the ink splatter image.

I am really pleased with how this set of cards and tin have turned out and it's great to try a different colour combination for the poppies.
