So glad we are friends Lemon Lime Twist feature card

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, April 02, 2019
Hi all,

Another day and another card for you. Following on from yesterday’s post I have use the Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set to create today’s card. This time I have used Lemon Lime Twist as my main colour mixed in with some Smoky Slate and Whisper White. Lemon Lime Twist is one of the 2017-2019 in-colours that will retire at the end of May this year. It’s such a bright neon green that goes with almost everything and has been such a popular colour! I know I will really miss it but I’m also very excited about the new 5 colours that will be available!

I have used a standard C6 card base using Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock with a layer of Whisper White for the background. I have stamped 3 flowers in Lemon Lime Twist ink and added a few Granny Apple Glitter Enamel Dots.
The main flower has been stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink onto Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die. I have used the leaf punch and the detailed leaf die to cut two of each from Velum and Smoky Slate Cardstock. These have been layered under the flower and attached to the card using Stampin Dimensionals.

To finish I have added some Champagne Shimmer Paint onto the main flower and stamped the "so glad we are friends" sentiment using Smoky Slate ink.

Hi all,

For today's card I have used the Seasoned With Kindness Stamp Set and can be purchased for just £9.00 worth of Stampin' Rewards, WOW!  There are 13 stamps in the set, and include outlines and in-fill images that can be used either on their own or for some two-step stamping fun.  Although the sentiments lean towards thank you and celebrating, the occasions are endless that this one can be used for so is a great addition to your stamp set libraries!

For my card, I have used a standard C6 card base and layered on some Wood Textures Designer Series Papers and some Shaded Spruce CardstockFor that little something extra, I have stamped the cardstock using one of the images from the set in Shaded Spruce Ink.

For the main feature of this card, I have stamped the flower pot images onto Smoky Slate Cardstock, cut out and attached to the piece of Whisper White Cardstock that is the top layer of this card.  I have then stamped the flowers onto the card, and attached the flower pot over the top.

To finish, I have stamped the sentiment tag, cut out and stuck on using a Stampin' Dimensional.  I have also tied some Linen Thread into a bow.

in , , , , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, November 20, 2018
Hi all,

Vertical Greetings is a stamp set that has been on my wish list for a while now and I finally purchased it during the 15% off promotion that took place last month, and I am hooked!

This card features one of the images that I have added different coloured ink using a Sponge Dauber.  For this one, I have used Mossy Meadow for the leaves, Soft Suede for the stem and Crushed Curry for the plant pot.

For the card base, I have added some texture by running it through the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing FolderI have also added a wash of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint over the top to give it a shiny look.  For this I have used a sponge and lightly wiped across the card front.

Underneath my stamped element, I have used the Ribbon Border Punch to create the strip that you can see on the right hand side.

To finish, I have tied some Braided Linen Trim.

YOU ARE MY AMAZING FRIEND WITH FALLING FLOWERS AND MAY FLOWERS FRAMELITS

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, August 18, 2018
Hi all,

I hope you're all enjoying the weekend so far!

#makeacardsendacard isn't just about cards for the usual occasions such as Birthdays and Anniversaries.  I probably send more cards out to friends, customers and loved ones just because they are in my thoughts or to say thank you for something they may have done.

I do feel very blessed to know so many amazing people and I am proud of every single one of my friends for their own special reasons.  If my richness in life was measured by the people I am surrounded by then I consider myself a very wealthy person.  Crafting is not only a hobby and a business, it gives me a general release from the stresses of day to day life and because of this, I have met some wonderful people who I now class as my friends.

Todays' card will be sent to one of these people "just because" they are amazing!  Made with one of my very favourite colours, Lemon Lime TwistI have kept it really simple with some stamped leaves from the Falling Flowers Stamp Set.  I have stamped the three images side-by-side using my Stamparatus Stamping Platform.  I have stamped another onto a seperate sheet of Whisper White Cardstock and die-cut out using the co-ordinating May Flowers Framelits Dies.  I have attached this using Stampin' Dimensionals over the top of the middle image.

I have die cut the word "Amazing" from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies in Silver Glimmer Paper and attached onto the card front.  The words "You Are My" come from the Sunshine Sayings Stamp SetThese have been stamped onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, cut out into a single tile and attached using Stampin' Dimensionals"Friend" comes from the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set and has been stamped directly onto the card front.

All of these products can be purchsed now online by visiting my online shop.  For orders that total £45 (exclusing postage and packing), you will receive a £4.50 voucher that can be redeemed in September when you place another order!

Have a great day!

GOOD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, January 12, 2018
Hi all,

Wow that was a busy few days for me, a busy day at my "paid" employment, a trip to Bluewater, and a team training event but I'm back with card number 3 of my "Remarkable You" set....and the return of those hand cut leaves!

This card is made from a sheet of Crumb Cake A4 Cardstock measuring 4, 1/8" x 11,1/2", scored and folded at 5,3/4".
The purple layer is a piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.
To create the background, I have stamped the leaf image from the Remarkable You Stamp Set (available in Wood Mount and Clear Mount options) using Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad.  I have edged the Very Vanilla Cardstock using ink from a Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad and a Sponge Dauber.  I have then drawn a free-hand line around the edge using a journalling pen.

The additional leaf has been stamped using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad and coloured in using the two Old Olive Stampin' Blends.  I have carefully cut the leaf image out using scissors and attached to the Basic Black Cardstock layer using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

The "Good Things Are Going To Happen" sentiment comes from the You've Got This Stamp Set (available in Wood and Clear Mount options) and has been stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad.  I have punched this out using a 2" Circle Punch, and added some Crumb Cake edging with some free-hand stitching using a journaling pen again.

Using the Starburst Punch, I have cut a piece of Old Olive Cardstock and layered this with the sentiment, attaching to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish, I have added some sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment.

Thanks so much for reading, I would love to know which one is your favourite from the set so far, 1, 2 or 3??

Thanks!
Stacey
