CELEBRATE THE SEASON GIFT BOX

in , , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, November 21, 2018
Hi all,

Yesterday I had my final class of the 2018 and it was a good one!  We made a card, a box, and a gift bag so the ladies were nice and occupied for the evening. As always it was lots of fun!

I put the gift box together using a design that my lovely up-line Michelle Last taught us a few years back at a team training event.  It's a really simple one to put together and it looks fab in any colour and for any occasion!

I have created this design in Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (my favourite Christmas Colour!) and before putting together I have ran it through the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  This folder not only makes your projects look sytlish, it also gives the card a leathery look and feel which is just great for 3D projects!

To decorate this one, I have used two of the layering circles and coloured in the main image from the Peaceful Poinsettia Framelits Dies.  I have die-cut the word 'Celebrate' from the Celebrate You Thinlits and finished with two addtional words 'The Season' which originate from the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set

If you would like to give this a go, use the instructions below with a piece of cardstock measuring 6" x 8.5".  The sections marked 'CUT' are the sections that you fold to create the base.

PRODUCTS USED FOR THIS PROJECT INCLUDE:
- Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Hi all,

Friday already can you believe?!!

Today's feature is something that I try really hard to do every week, however with crafting time sometimes being a bit erratic I don't always manage it.

The card that I am showing you today has been CASE'd directly from something I saw on Pinterest a little while ago (click here to view) and I think it would be fab for any occasion card.  CASE means to Copy And Share Everywhere, and it's always nice to give credit to the person that the idea originated from.

This card has been put together from one sheet of A4 cardstock, to make the base, 1 sheet of A4 coloured cardstock for the matting and another sheet of A4 Whisper White Cardstock for the stamped top layers.

I really like the way that this multi folded card opens out, and as it folds totally flat it is great for
posting as well!

The flowers originate from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set that is a two-step technique set.  It means that there are multiple stamps that you use to create a single image.  You can use different stamp pads or the same colour stampin' pad to create an image with layers and tones.

Dimensions
Card base measures 5.5" x 11.5".
Score along the long edge at 0.25", 3.75" and 7.25"
Turn so that the small scored edge is at the top, and cut at 5/8" down to the bottom score line only.
Cut another piece of Whisper White measuring 2.75" x 4.25".  This piece is attached to the 0.25" strip for the front of the card.

All customers who order using this code will receive a gift from me in October. If your order totals more than £150 (plus P&P) please don’t use this code as you can chose your own rewards to add to your order,  you will still get a gift from me!

Have a great day everyone, come back soon!

Hi all,

The Stampin' Up! catalogues aren't just full of fabulous stamp sets, inks, papers, tools and card, it is also full of samples and inspiration!  I have saved all my old catalogues and often use them when my crafting mojo has abandoned me!

Throughout the duration of this new catalogue, I shall be looking to CASE samples of work in the catalogue with different products to show you that you don't have to copy cards exactly to still get a great looking card or project!

For those of you that don't know, CASE means Copy and Selectively Edit.  You see this as a feature on many different blogs and challenges with card sketches.  You will be amazed how different peoples work can be with a simple starting off directive.

For this card I have used the sample of work shown on page 45 of the new 2018-2019 annual catalogue which showcases the **NEW Varied Vases Stamp Set and Vase Builder Punch Bundle**.

For this one, I have stuck to the card design really closely and have just changed the colour combination, embossing folder used, sentiment and ribbon.   What do you think?

Thanks for reading everyone, looking forward to this becoming a regular feature on my blog!

Have a great day!
