Hello and welcome to my blog,

Today I am sharing with you a card design that I have created using products from the Snowflake Splendor suite that features in the August - December Mini Catalogue.

I have taken inspiration for this card from all the Christmas decorations I keep seeing in stores in tones of pink and grey!  I am not a huge fan of pink at Christmas but actually I'm starting to see how elegant it looks!

My absolute favourite product in the Snowflake Splendor suite is the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. I have recently made a pact with myself to use more embossing folders and this one gives me all the love for embossing folders.  It is so delicate and for this card, I have embossed Vellum Cardstock, and just WOW!

I have attached the Vellum Cardstock to the card front over the top of a layer of Whisper White Cardstock and it makes it look even more luxurious, and almost material like!

Before attaching to the card front, I have added a strip of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and secured with a bow (see the video tutorial below for how I have done this)

For my main feature, I have cut a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies from Blushing Bride Cardstock and Whisper White Cardstock plain circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Onto the white circle, I have heat embossed some of the snowflakes using Silver Stampin' Emboss Powderand added the sentiment from the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set using Blushing Bride ink.
