Hello and welcome to the September edition of the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!

Today, we have all created projects for you with the theme of Fall, Autumn and Halloween!  I am not a huge fan of Halloween so I have chosen to create an Autumnal feeling card for you. 

For my design today, I have used the Lovely Leaves Bundle of products that feature in the August - December Mini Catalogue.  Within the bundle is the Lovely Leaves Stamp Set and the Stitched Leaves Dies.  I'm not sure which product I love more as both are just wonderful to use!

I have chosen a really rich autumn colour palette of Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow for my card.  The leaves have been die-cut using both the outline and the separate stitching dies and I have added some additonal colour to the edges of the leaves with a Sponge Dauber and the corresponding ink colour! I love how this really simple technique with the edges changes the look of these leaves and it just makes them feel more "real". 

I have layered the leaves together and added to my card front which I have backed with some of the In Good Taste Designer Series Papers which are a perfect fit for these leaves too as they are all natural looking designs!

For the sentiment, I have heat embossed the words onto Basic Black Cardstock with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and cut into two strips to layer onto the leaves. To finish I have added some more natural texture with a Linen Thread bow!

Hello and welcome to my blog, 

I have used the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder to create the background layer, and added a piece of the red ribbon from the Playful Pets Ribbon Combo Pack tied with a bow. 

Onto the white die-cut piece, I have added a piece of Whisper White Cardstock that has been die-cut using one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  

The house has been die-cut from the Home Together Dies in Crumb Cake Cardstock and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.  I have mounted the heart from the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock onto the house that has been cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock. 

The sentiment has been stamped directly onto the white die-cut piece using a Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad and this comes from the Well Said Stamp Set.  

This card design is perfect for sending to someone who has moved home, and those die-cut houses are super useful for all sorts of occasions!
