STRIPES MEETS TASTEFUL TOUCHES

Hi all,

Today I am sharing with you two cards that I put together during this week's Facebook Live crafting session that I hold every Wednesday evening at 8pm BST over on my Facebook page. If you missed it and would like to watch how these cards were put together, click HERE

I am a huge lover of stripes so I wanted to show you two different ways to create stripes in your card making.

For my first card, I have used an Aqua Painter and Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper to create my stripes. When creating your stripes I would recommend not overthinking it an just simply moving your brush across the card stock in one direction only and leaving to dry before adding another layer of colour.

I have created the sentiment on my card using the new Playful Alphabet Dies and the phrase underneath from Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set. The flower image that I have used on both of my cards comes from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set which is also new.

For my second card, I have used the stripes image from the Pattern Play Photopolymer Stamp Set to repeatedly stamp down my strip of Misty Moonlight Cardstock. I have layered this onto a card base cut from Purple Posy A4 Cardstock and added some stamped images also from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set.

To bring my card together, I have added some more stamping onto the inside layer of Whisper White to match the card front.

I really think these two colours compliment each other so well and the detail on the stamps is stunning.
