Enjoy Your Special Day with Follow Your Art.....

Hi all,

Yesterday was my weekly "Watch it Wednesday" event that takes place at 8pm live on my Facebook page.  Each week I focus on a different product and this week I chose to use the new Follow You Art Suite of products.

This suite of products jumped off the page for me when I viewed the new catalogue and it coordinates brilliantly with the Crafting Forever Stamp Set that has carried over.  I was attracted by the bright colours and the versatility of the products.  I am sure to be using these alot in my business and I even have a special workshop planned around the suite on the 29th June!  When you watch the video back, you will see a sneak peak of what we will be making....

I have used the Notecards and Envelopes to create these cards.  They measure 3.5" x 5" and are a great size.  The card fronts have been covered with pieces of the DSP measuring the same size.  On one of the cards (bottom right) I have used one of the Edgelit dies that come in the Arts and Crafts Dies.

I have used the two largest dies from the Layering Circle Dies, the outer scalloped circle has been cut from Night of Navy Cardstock and the plain circle from Whisper White Cardstock.  The sentiment comes from the Stitched Labels Stamp Set and I have stamped it using Memento.

I have stamped a selection of the images from the two stamp sets and coloured in with Stampin' Blends.  Each element has been cut out (some with the Arts & Craft Dies and some with my trusty Paper Snips).   The elements have been arranged and attached to each card front, and to finish I have added the small flower-shaped button and tied some Linen Thread in a bow!

These cards were a lot of fun to create and I love how bright each one is.  My usual style would have been to leave the card front plain but I think the DSP brings them all together as a set.

To step this project up further, I would create a box and give them as a gift to someone.  They would be great to sell at craft fairs too.

The video was recorded 'live' via my Facebook channel but you can view below...

I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:
