Hi all,

On Tuesday this week I held my Monthly Card Class which was all about the Floating Frame Technique.  We made 4 cards and had lots of fun!

I have two places left on the repeat of this class on Tuesday 4th June.  If you would like to join us, the cost is £15 and includes all materials and tuition to make 4 cards.  If you would like to include the Stitched Rectangle Framelits then the cost is £33.  Alternatively, if you place a £25 order at the class, you will receive the card class for FREE!  Booking is essential so please message me to book your place.

Okay so onto the cards......

I showcased the first card on Tuesday this week.  It was a card that I also entered into the Inspire Create Colour Challenge this week and was lots of fun to make!.

I have photographed these two cards together as you make these cards together to start with. The joy of the Floating Frame Technique is that you can use the positive and negative part of the cardstock that you cut out using the Dies of your choice.  In this case, I have used the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I have used the BRAND NEW Daisy Lane Stamp Set for these two cards which coordinates with both the existing Daisy Punch and the BRAND NEW Medium Daisy Punch. It will be available as a bundle with the Medium Daisy Punch from the 4th June.  If you can't wait to order the two items, you can order them early as part of the Starter Kit which costs £99 for £130 worth of product that you choose!  You can find out more about the Starter Kit by clicking HERE....

I have used both the Well Written Dies and the Well Said Stamp Set which can be purchased as a "bundle" until the 3rd of May.  This means that they have 10% off when bought together.  "Happy" has been die-cue from Basic Black Cardstock and "Birthday" has been stamped using Versamark onto Basic Black Cardstock and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.

For the second card in this set, the sentiment that I have used comes from the Amazing You Stamp Set which is retiring on the 3rd May, meaning that it will not be available to buy when the new 2019/20 Annual Catalogue launches on the 4th May.

I have added some splashes of colour using the coordinating Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin' Blend and coloured the banner in using the same pen to highlight.
For the Card:
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock for the card base measuring 10.5cm x 29.8cm, scored at 14.9cm and folded in half.
  • Whisper White Cardstock for the inside of the card measuring 10cm x 14.4cm
I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:

When placing an order online, please remember to enter the hostess code below at checkout
All customers who add this code to their order will receive a gift from me at the end of the month.  If your order totals more than £150 please do not use this code as you can choose your own rewards to add to your order, and you will still receive a very special gift from me at the end of the month.

If your order totals £130 or more, you can save money by adding it to the Starter Kit option
The current joining offer means that for £99 you can choose £130 of product of your choice and join Stampin' Up!  You can click the "Save and Join" icon above to find out more information on what this means.  A great thing about buying the Starter Kit is that you become part of the Stampin' Up! community and have access to exclusive demonstrator events, discounted product and first-access to new products!

As always, if you have any questions leave me a comment or send me an email and I will do my best to help.
