A Good Man part two...

Hi all,

Following on from yesterday's post where I introduced a lovely new stamp set available from 4th June, I am following it up with another card using the same stamp set.

A Good Man features gorgeous hand drawn images of men that are perfect for colouring with your choice of colouring tool and the sentiments are all really useful for creating those tricky male orientated cards.

Today's card uses the image of the man sitting down on a lovely deckchair so I went with the combination, red white and blue for my card and paired it again with the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set.  I look inspiration for this card from a card that the lovely Jenny Mccormac put together some time ago and have used the Stamparatus to create the repetition of the stamping for the sentiments.  The sentiments come from the Well Said Stamp Set and the Varied Vases Stamp Set.  I have used Blueberry Bushell, Balmy Blue, Basic Gray and Tuxedo Black for the stamped words.

For the stamped image of the man, I have stamped directly onto the card front, and again onto a seperate piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I have coloured the seperate image in using Stampin' Blends and then cut out with my Paper Snips.  Before attaching to the card front, I have added some shading with a Sponge Dauber and some Smoky Slate Ink.  I have cut the deckchair frame off completely and attached to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish, I have added some ink splatter from the Stampin' Blends onto the card front and added another sentiment inside the card.
