Hi all,

Eclipse cards are so popular all over social media at the moment and if you haven't tried this technique yet then you really should.  They are so easy to create and are fab for creating personalised cards to send.  I have had some really lovely feedback from people that I have sent these to so far and I'm sure I won't ever tire of making them!

This card, I have made for my Nan (surprise surprise ha!) who celebrates her birthday early on in May this year.

The flowers come from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set and rather than stamping on the background of the card, I have stamped directly onto the letters that have been die-cut and used another set of letters (in black cardstock) to create the shadow.

Have a great day all!

THANK YOU!

Hi all,

I hope you're all having a great week so far!  Today I am bringing you a fourth card using the Bike Ride Bundle  and this card is one that has nothing to do with a bike!

In the stamp set, there is a sweet little stack of books stamp and I didn't really know what I would use this for other than stacking on the bike.  For this one, I have stamped a row of books, used the in-fill stamp to add the colour, and added an extra set of books stamped in a different colour.

To create the words, I have used the Hand Lettered Alphabet Stamp Set and fussy cut out.  This is a fab stamp set.  Although the letters are individual stamps, the font makes it really easy to create words that look like they have been hand written in joined-up writing.  This is great for personalising your projects or creating unique sentiments.

I have also used the Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to add a bit of texture to the card base.

I think this card would be perfect for saying thank you to a teacher, or tutor, or even someone who just loves books!

Have a great day!

IT'S YOUR DAY LITTLE DOGGIE!

in , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 25, 2018
Hi all,

One of the stamps that stood out to me most in Bike Ride is the little doggie.  Me and my girls are huge doggie lovers and so I couldn't wait to bring him to life!

Although I love this bicycle stamp, I wanted to show you that you don't need to use all of it.  For this card, I have stamped the bicycle twice - once onto the card base, and once onto the smaller square.  This is a great technique for highlighting a smaller section of a larger stamp and as the doggie was such a cute little character, I had to put him in the spotlight!

I have left the rest of this card quite basic and I'm really pleased with how it turned out! The sentiment comes from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set.

Have a great day all!

Hi all,

This week I am showcasing the Bike Ride Bundle that consists of the Bike Ride Stamp Set and the Build a Bike Framelit Dies.  I have loved this set from afar for a while now and it was lots of fun having a play at a recent craft day that I held.

Today's card is a simple design and I have used the Basket Stamp along with the flower outlines and infill stamps.

For some added texture I have used the Basket Weave Embossing Folder (this item was available during Sale-a-Bration and will be offered in the new 2018-2019 annual catalogue from June)  and some Linen Thread.  The sentiment comes from the stamp set that is included in the Soft Sayings Card Kit.

The great thing about this set is for every outline stamp, they have provided an in-fill stamp meaning that you don't have to colour in all the elements with pen his, pencils, markers etc.,  For this, we now have the Stamparatus stamping platform which makes adding the infill colour so easy!

This is an exciting new product that Stampin' Up! will be launching in June of this year and I have had mine for a few weeks now.  I must say that I was a confident stamper prior to this, however now it really has made my stamping even better!  Have a look at the video below to see it in action!

BIKE RIDE PRODUCT SHOWCASE

in , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 23, 2018
Hi all,
I hope you all enjoyed a lovely weekend.  Mine was full of some of my most favourite things, sunshine, family, friends and crafting!
I held a Saturday crafting day with my local craft group and we crafted our little hearts out!  The day was full of card making, scrapbooking, quilting, crocheting, cake and chatter.  I hold these sessions regularly, so if you're local and fancy bringing your crafting for a trip out then keep an eye out for dates on my Facebook page or on the local events page on here.
I really enjoy these days as I get a full day to craft with whatever I fancy and even though I took along half of my craft room, I really did only play with one stamp set all day...Bike Ride!  This stamp set is a fun little set as you can put together all different parts of a bicycle with some really cute additions and there are even co-ordinating framelit dies so no fussy cutting is required, hooray!

Over the next few days I will be showcasing a few different cards that I have put together using the single stamp set.  It really is so versatile and who doesn't love a bicycle??

On this first card, you will see the bicycle put together using the stamps which I have die-cut out and put together with the addition of the basket of flowers on the back.

For the background I have used the Brick Wall Mask and some Embossing Paste on Crumb Cake cardstock and added some Burlap Ribbon for a bit more texture.

What do you think?

Have a great day!

Hi all,

One of the sets I am really pleased is carrying over into the new catalogue is the Balloon Celebration set which coordinates with the Balloon Punch! After all what says happy birthday more than balloons!

For tofay'scard I have created an ombre background using Emerald Envy Ink (which sadly is retiring) and added some punched balloons over the top and finished with a strip of cardstock and Happy Birthday!

Have a great Tuesday all!

Hi all,

A quiet blogging week for me last week as we spent 5 days in Italy with my parents which was just wonderful. Amazing food, lovely weather and a fab time all round taking in the sights and enjoying rack others company!

Least week also saw the release of the list of items that will be discontinued by Stampin' Up! at the end of may to prepare for the launch of the exciting new 2018/19 annual catalogue which I must say is full of gorgeous new products!

You can view this retiring list by clicking here. Protects will only be available until stocks last so if there is something you would like to buy deviously don't delay as this start to sell out fast.

I will be posting more about this as we get closer to launch date and holding some exciting classes and get together for you to check it all out in person.

Until then however let's enjoy all the current products!

Today's card is a design that I often like to use as it's clean looking and simple to put together.

The sentiment comes from the Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set which I have stamped in Basic Grey ink to compliment the Smoky Slate cardstock I have used for the card base.

The flowers come from a stamp set called Best Birds and I have stamped them using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured in with Pool Party Stampin' Blends. The have been cut out and attached to the card using Mini Glue Dots so they are slightly raised.

To finish I have added a few sequins for a touch of shimmer!

Looking forward to sending this card to someone special very soon!

Have a great week.

in , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 08, 2018
Hi all,

So yesterday I spent the day with over 500 demonstrators from the UK and a few from surrounding countries at an event called Onstage. Stampin' Up! hottest 2 of these events a year and they are some of my favourite days. We get to preview new products before anyone else, play with new products before anyone else, celebrate each others successes and generally have lots of fun!

It had become tradition for my team and I (those that are able to make it) to travel up together, do some shopping, rest lovely did, have a few drinks and just enjoy not having to rush around for work, children, grandchildren, pets, and husbands!

Everytime we go to one of these events, I always like to take a little something for my team to say thankyou for being with me.

For this event I took along a
pack of post it notes and a yummy chocolate biscuit that I had decorated with some Designer Series Paper and some extras.  We always sit and go through the new catalogue together after the event so post it's always come in handy!!

I will be sharing details of the event as soon as the spolier policy lifts so check out my Facebook page later on next week to see all the highlights!

If you don't You already follow me on Facebook, you can find me here >>>

Enjoy your Sunday everyone, I shall be traveling home to my husband and girls whilst trying to find a way to afford everything I want on my wish list from the new catalogue coming in June!!

Hi all,

The weekend is finally here and it's one of my favourite weekends of the year. I am spending the weekend at Stampin' Up! Event with a few of my team and around 500 other demonstrators from the UK and Europe.

At these events we get to preview the new products, catalogues, celebrate each others achievements and generally have a lot of fun!

Tune in on Monday to see more!

Back to Fridays project...a Notecard set that I have put together using the Quirky Critters Stamp Set.

This stamp set is a really fun one to pick up and colour with your choice of pen, pencil or ink.

For this set I have coloured my critters in using Stampin' Blends and I have kept the cards really simple with since DSP and ribbon.

The cards measure 4" square so make up a really sweet sweet of Notecards.

Have a great weekend all!

FANCY FOLD FRIDAY #FFF3 Z-Fold Card

in , , , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 06, 2018
Hi all,

Friday feels like it's come around really quickly this week. The joy of half term being full of fun things with my little ones!

This card cold is one that I really enjoy making, and so far it's not getting old!

I've seen it on Pinterest called the 'Z Fold'. I guess because when you look down on it from service it does resemble the letter Z!

I have put this card together for a good friend who recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Amelia.

To make this card you need an A4 sheet of cardstock. Asking the long edge, score at 6" and 8". Cut one strip at 5.5" and another one 2" wide. Attach as shown in the picture.

This card features the following products...
The letters have been attempted onto Powder Pink cardstock and die-cut out. I have then die cut another set in whisper white cardstock and attached together to create a shadow effect. I find this helps the letters stand out against a busy background.

Thanks for reading folks!

GRANDAD ECLIPSE CARD

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 05, 2018
Hi all,

Eclipse cards seem to be everywhere at the moment. I have no idea where the name comes from but it's a fab idea and makes those odd birthday cards really simple to put together.

I have used the Large Letter Framelits dies here to create the word Grandad and rather than stamping the background, I have used some good old DSP!!
The papers I have used here come from the True Gentlemen suite of products and couldn't be more perfect for male crafting!!

The sentiment at the top.comes from the coordinating Truly Tailored Stamp Set!

Looking forward to sending this one!

LOTS OF LOVE

in , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 04, 2018
Hi all,

Last card from me today showcasing the Lots of Love Stamp Set.

Sticking with the same colour theme, this one was really straight forward to put together and the first card I put together out of the 3.

For since added dimension I have stamped "love" separately, cut out and re-attached using a Stampin' Dimensional. Too finish I have tried some ribbon along the top edge!

Here are the 3 cards side by side, what do you think?

SENDING LOTS OF LOVE

in , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 03, 2018
Hi all,

More background Stamping from me today, this time with the flower stamp from the Lots of Love Stamp Set.

I have stamped in Flurry Flamingo and overlapped each for to create a repeating pattern.

To finish I have stepped the main sentiment onto a seriate piece of card at an angle and attached to the card front. The leaves have been attempted in Lemon Lime Twist for sincesome brightness!

Have a great day all!

THINKING OF YOU

in , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 02, 2018
Hi all,

Hope you all had a great Easter Sunday celebration yesterday!  Ours involved Chocolate, family, a long walk, some playground fun, a big roast dinner and more chocolate!  Today we are off to see more family and another roast dinner!

As we move into April, there will be lots of information coming out soon about what products are going to be "retired" from the current catalogues.  If you are new to Stampin' Up! this basically means products being discontinued and will no longer be available once all stocks are gone.

Over the next few weeks, I shall be sharing with you some of my favourite products that have featured in the 2017-2018 catalogue.  This does not mean that they are being retired but just ones that I have loved using over this past year.

The next few days features the "Lots of Love" Stamp Set.  This stamp set is featured within the Whole Lot of Lovely Suite of products.

I have used the main sentiment stamp repeatedly to create the background.  The flowers have been stamped seperately, cut out and arranged using Stampin' Dimensionals to attach over the Burlap Ribbon to add a bit of texture.

"Thinking of You" has been stamped seperately again and cut out to create a smaller sentiment tab.

Have a great Bank Holida Monday whatever you are up to!  The sun is shining here which always makes me happy!

HAPPY EASTER

in , , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 01, 2018
Hi all,

It is Easter Sunday here today and this means two things for us at the Manor, the celebration of the resurrection of Christ, and the arrival of the Easter Bunny, or in my eldest's eyes, the Easter Bunny's birthday!

Since the arrival of my girls, Easter Sunday is another reason to enjoy spending time as a family, eating chocolate and hopefully enjoying the lovely warm spring sunshine!

This card needs no introduction and says it all!!

This style of card is becoming increasingly popular across Pinterest and social media and really are simple and easy to create.

Known as the eclipse card, to make, you stamp a background, or use some patterned DSP, choose your word and die cut using using Large Letters Framelits. Once cut out, reattach the letters back in using Stampin' Dimensional down pads, or if you are really clever layer up with several more due cut letters for more detail!

On this card I have used the dots from the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set in So Saffron, and the flowers from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set. Once cut out, I have coloured in the flowers only on the letters using Stampin' Blends in Old Olive and Calypso Coral.

What do you think?

I hope you enjoy your Easter Sunday whatever it means to you!
