IT'S BEEN A WHILE....

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator, August 26, 2026

Hello and welcome to my blog today!

It feels like a while since I have been present online; busy working Mum and then the summer holidays here in the UK will do that but after a hectic month or so, I re-started my weekly live stream demonstrations and made the two cards that I am sharing in this blog post.  I was definitely a bit "rusty" to start....

So jump in and let's see what I made

With a brand new catalogue on the horizon and a change of season feeling like it is just around the corner, I introduced an autumnal colour palette alongside some autumnal feeling products...

Starting with card number 1, the wreath is part of the Detailed Wreath Accents product that launches on 01 September.  The wreaths are all press-outs in an off-white colour and I used gold embossing powder to turn it gold and give it some texture!

For more texture on this card, I used another new product - the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder; this was used to add texture to the green base layer, and a great way to show off that Two Tone cardstock with a white core.

The flower is part of the Glow of Harvest Speciality Designer Series Papers that are currently available for £5 with a £70 order in the UK as part of the Product of the Month promotion.  They have a beautiful shimmer to them and as a fussy cutting fan, they are fabulous!

The second card came together with thanks to this week's Global Design Project challenge which is a card sketch based on 4 stripes - I created the stripes with a mix of the Glow of Harvest Speciality Designer Series Papers and embossed white cardstock.

For my decoration, I used some fussy-cut images and a heat embossed sentiment with gold embossing powder and Early Espresso (dark brown) cardstock.

If you want to see the techniques that I used to create these cards from start to finish, I have linked the livestream replay below - select the link to view.

My next livestream will be on Thursday 03 September from 8.30pm on Youtube - be sure to subscribe!
