Hello and welcome to my blog today!
Today I am sharing the projects that I put together for my latest Saturday workshop that was themed around the Lovely Garden product suite.
For the class, I designed three cards, and a scrapbook layout, and we looked a number of different techniques. Jump in and see all the projects!
The first card was designed around tones of Fresh Freesia and I we focused on how to use the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks to colour the images. If you don't enjoy colouring, then these are masks are a great solution!
For the next card, we used the large hydrangea flower image and I shared how to create a multi-layered flower and a partial die-cutting technique.
The third card was put together using the Everyday Arches Dies and I wanted to create a card that uses both of the flower images!
So we needed to create more panels! The Everyday Arches Dies are some of my favourite new products and they are perfect for creating a multi-panel card as the shapes are symmetrical!
And, lastly the scrapbook layout which has been put together using the Lovely Garden Designer Series Papers. These papers are really bold so I used some of the more muted colours to allow the flowers to be the main feature!
We also used the new Flip Flap products that are a great product to use when you want to add more photos to your layouts!
If you would like to join in on a Saturday workshop, the next class will take place on the 14th of June and will have options for joining both in person and online. The workshop will be themed around the Floral Impressions Suite and will make a set of cards in a keepsake tin!
