JANUARY COLOR FUSERS BLOG HOP

Hello and welcome to my blog today - and my first blog post of 2025!

Today, myself and my fellow designers are sharing January's Colour Fusers Blog hop, and this month is a colour palette that is close to my heart - blue and grey tones!

Join us to be inspired by these three colours, and remember to use the colour palette in your own projects

My take on this colour challenge started with some water colouring - my favourite way to achieve different tones of individual colours, and how to bring out some softer tones too. 

The flower images on my card originate from the Mixed Florals Stamp Set - they have been heat embossed with White Embossing Powder onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Card, and coloured with ink from our Classic Stampin' Pads mixed with a little water and a water brush

The stripes in the background have hand-painted with the wider of the three waterbrushes. 

Once the colouring had dried, I cut the image out using the coordinating die, added some die-cut leaves behind and finished with a heat embossed sentiment.
