SEPTEMBER TO DECEMBER MINI CATALOGUE BLOG HOP

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, September 05, 2024

Hello and welcome to my blog today.

Today I am joining in with a blog hop inspired by the brand new September to December Mini Catalogue that launched yesteday.

I love this time of year - myself and the children have gone back to school, you can feel the start of Autumn in the air and there is a brand new catalogue full of exciting new products!

For my post today, I am sharing not one, but two card designs with you all that have been created with products from the brand new Reindeer Days suite, both of which were created during my weekly live demonstration earlier this week, which you can watch back below

For me, anything with a cute face needs to be added to my basket straight away and this was the first set of products that I knew I "needed", and they did not disappoint.  I love the versatility of this suite, and the stamps and dies offer just that.

The first card that I made was inspired by the Reindeer Fun Dies which are really simple to use, and create the cutest of images.  I particularly like the reindeer, but who wouldn't?

I have kept the card design really simple by using the same colours across each square, and added an embossed layer to create some detail in the background without taking the attention away from the die-cuts!

For the second card, I have gone in a bit of a different direction, and focused the design around the Reindeer Fun stamp set, and created a "night sky" style card.

Whilst I am a traditional red and green christmas colour fan, I do love to use Navy in my christmas cards, and this card came out just as I hoped it would.  To create the depth of colour in the background, I have used Night of Navy Ink with a Blending Brush onto Night of Navy card.

And of course, the finishing touch on this card had to be the red nose on the reindeer!

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope you took some creative inspiration from my designs.  To continue being inspired, the full list of demonstrators taking part in today's hop is below - just select each name!
