GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 433 - COLOUR CHALLENGE #GDP433

 

Hello and welcome to my blog today!

I really enjoyed taking part in last week's Global Design Project and was thrilled to be chosen as one of the winners for the CASE the designer challenge so I'm joining in again this week which is a colour challenge!

I love a colour challenge, and this week I felt really inspired by the colours that were chosen.  

For my project, I used all three colours with Blending Brushes to create the bright background which I then die-cut with the Dots and Spots Die before layering it onto a white card base.  

During last week's challenge someone used the By My Side Stamp Set which reminded me it's been a while since I used mine!

I used Watercolour Pencils to colour in the image of the young girls, and attached her to a white circle (cut with the 2,3/8" Circle Punch). 

I also added a little bow in her hair tied with Linen Thread, so cute isn't it!

And then to finish, I kept it really simple with a little stamped sentiment so that the background remained the star of this card!
