GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT - TIS' THE SEASON CHALLENGE!

Hello, and welcome to my blog today which is all about a super delicate card design that I created with this week's Global Design prompt in mind!

I am a big fan of the Global Design Project and often enter their challenges. This week's prompt is "tis the season" and it is FULL of festive inspiration for you to use in your crafting projects.

For my card design, I have used the Merriest Trees Dies to create the main feature of my card, and I have paired it with a delicate water colour technique to create the card that I have cut the die-shapes from.

I have veered away from the traditional colours of Christmas and instead opted for an alternative colour palette of Balmy Blue, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather

I do love a really bold sentiment, and the images in the Joy to You Stamp Set are just that!

CARD BASE: Bubble Bath card 14.9cm x 29.8cm, scored at 14.9cm

CARD LAYER: White card 14.4cm x 14.4cm

SENTIMENT CARD LAYER: 3.5cm x 14.4cm

INNER CARD LAYER: White card 14.4cm x 14.4cm
