EMBOSSING PASTE MEETS THE FESTIVE AND FUN STAMP SET!

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, November 14, 2023

Hello and welcome to my blog today!

Today I am sharing two card designs that have been put together using the Festive and Fun Stamp Set....and a fun embossing technique!

These card designs were created during a live demonstration so there is also a video for you to follow!

I absolutely love adding texture into my cards and I have used the white embossing paste with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks for both of these cards.

For the first card, I have used the snowflake mask with the Embossing paste in it's natural form.

The rhino image has been coloured with Watercolour Pencils (without water) and I have finished with a simple sentiment strip!

For the second card, you will notice that the embossing paste is blue....I have created this by adding a drop of Pool Party Ink from a refill into the embossing paste and mixed to get the colour!

I've added even more texture to this card with the addition of the ribbon and I love how the colours work together!

These little characters from the Festive and Fun stamp set are just adorable and have stolen my heart expecially with this subtle colour palette!

To create these card designs at home, you will need:

CARD BASE - 10.5cm x 29.8cm, scored at 14.9cm
CARD LAYER - 9.8cm x 14.2cm
CARD LAYER - 9.5cm x 13.9cm

I designed these projects with this week's Global Design Project in mind which is all about CASING the designer.  These are my favourite type of challenges as they are wide open for interpretation and I love seeing everyone's versions!  To see the projects, and to join the challenge, select the image below!
