GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #GDP382

Hello and welcome to a new blog post today where I am taking part in this weeks Global Design Project challenge.  Each week the stampers over at the Global Design Project share a new challenge, and it's a great place to visit for inspiration, and of course to take part in.  This weeks challenge is number 382 and it's a sketch challenge.  

Sketch challenges are lots of fun to take part is as they are a great starting point for your card making.  I use these alot in my card making, especially when i'm feeling a little uninspired, or fancy trying something different.  I love how one simple sketch can inspire so many different interpretations.  Check out the other designs that folks over at the Global Design Project have created with this one simple sketch!

For my take on this sketch challenge, I have used a selection of new and soon to be released products. 

Starting with the stamp set; the flowers and the sentiment come from the Dainty Delight Cling Stamp Set that features in the January to April Mini Catalogue. 

I have also used one of the new Basics Embossing Folders that are launching in March to add texture to the die-cut circles in the background of the card. 

The circles have been cut from white card, and I have added the colour to them with a Blending Brush, and this really makes the embossing stand out that little bit more. 

So as not to distract from the colours in the background, I have added monochrome stamping to bring the card together.
