INK STAMP SHARE SALEABRATION BLOG HOP

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, January 28, 2023

Hello and welcome to the Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop which for January has the theme of Sale-a-Bration!

Today you will find a selection of Demonstrators from across the globe sharing inspiration using some of this years FREE products that are available until the end of February.  At the bottom of this post, you will find the full list of Demonstrators taking part, click through them until you end up back here, and if you see anything you like, let us know!

My two favourite items from this years' Sale-a-Bration Promotion are the Adorable Owls Stamp Set and the Favored Flowers Designer Series Papers.  I have shared alot of inspiration already using the Adorable Owls Stamp Set, so it's time to move my attention to the patterned papers.

In today's post, I am sharing 4 card designs that I have created using the Favored Flowers DSP that are a free item when you spend £45 or €60, and there's even a tutorial at the bottom that is a replay of my recent Facebook Live event

As much as the floral papers are really pretty, I really love the plainer block colour sheets, and for card number 1 I wanted to showcase both sides, but in a subtle way.

And do you notice the two-tone sentiment?  A great little tip for when your sentiment doesn't quite fit onto the width of a banner....

And these papers are just perfect for adding extra detail inside your cards....

Card number 2 is quite honestly my go-to layout when working with busy patterned papers.

When you see a really busy sheet of paper, I find it less overwhelming to use in smaller sized pieces, and when sandwiched between some plainer sheets, it really stands out, don't you think?

For card number 3, I have used a really big image cut from one of the DSP sheets, cut it in half and added a banner across the middle!

And lastly, card number 4 is another piece of that busy floral sheets but adding to a contrasting colour (white) helps break it up that little bit more, and what a simple layout
