COLOR FUSERS JANUARY BLOG HOP

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, January 02, 2023

Hello, and a very Happy New Year to you all!  This is my first Blog Post and Color Fusers Blog Hop of the new year too!

My Demonstrator friends and I from across the globe are here to share some creative inspiration using a triple colour combination for you.  I hope that we inspire your creativity through our projects and designs.

For my design, I have chosen Fresh Freesia as the "main" colour of the three that have been chosen this month.  I have used this colour for both my card base, and an additional layer on my card.

And if that wasn't enough Fresh Freesia, I have also stamped the word "friend" in Fresh Freesia Ink.  To achieve the different tones of colour in my stamping, I have stamped continuously without re-inking my stamp.  This is a fab technique and really shows off our coordinated colours brilliantly.
And for some extra detail, I have added some more stamping on the inside to bring the whole card together, and make it feel a little more special!

The images that I have used come from not one but two brand new stamp sets that are available in our new January to April Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration promotion, and I love how the Rich Razzleberry flowers pop against the background of the lighter Fresh Freesia.

The flowers come from the Love For You Stamp Set that is available from the 5th January in the new January to April Mini Catalogue.

Depending on your recipient, you can use any of the names within the Best Family Ever Stamp Set as it contains a wide range of relations including Friend, Wife, Husband, Cousin and add on's including "in'law"!  It's a super handy set to add to your stash!

  2. I love your card Stacey! It's simple and special all at the same time! The repeat stamping of the "Friend" image adds a lovely backdrop for the bright flowers. TFS!
