INK STAMP SHARE SKETCH BLOG HOP

Hello and welcome to this months Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop which is all about a sketch!

I love me a sketch challenge.  It's a great way to start a project, and if (like me) you tend to stick to the same old tried and tested designs, it's a good way of switching things up and tackling something a bit different!

Today's hop you will find Demonstrators from around the globe sharing their take on the sketch below, and I hope you will be inspired by what we have created for you all.

Now, I don't know about you, but I typically create portrait style cards so I really loved that this is a landscape design, and even though the space is exactly the same size, I find that there is more space to fill when they're on their side, how funny!

I have a confession, a team member of mine, Lett Thornton from Lett's Create used Designer Series Paper as a card base the other day, and I won't lie, it BLEW MY MIND!  I always use card for my card bases, so how novel that you can also use patterned paper to do this!  Thanks Lett for introducing me to this technique, it will definitely be something I do more in the future!

Back to my card design, I have used the super cute Adorable Owls Stamp Set as my feature set for this design.  It is a brand new stamp set that will be available from January 2023 for FREE when you spend £45 or €60.  I was lucky enough to be able to order this set early as I attended this years Onstage event in Vienna. 

I absolutely love an animal image that I can colour in, so I set to work this week colouring the images, and I settled on this colour combination which I think looks really natural, but still very cute, of course. 

And, lets talk about the LETTERS on this card...yes they are another Brand new product that launches in January, and they are called the Alphabet A La Mode Dies and I'm betting now that they are going to be really popular, what do you think?
