INK AND SHARE DECEMBER SCRAPBOOK HOP

Hello and welcome to the December Ink and Share Scrapbook Hop and a first time for me taking part!

I love scrapbooking, and I will admit that I don't get to spend as much time as I would like creating layouts, and sharing my photos in this way. I have recently started running scrapbook classes, and I have been thrilled with the take up so today I am sharing a layout that I put together for this month's class, and it fits perfectly with the theme of this months' hop....a hidden message!

Sometime you just can't choose between photos can you, so for this layout I have used two photos and a layout that keeps the photos as the main feature.

Using the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Papers, I have used one of the plainer sheets as my base layer, and added a central strip from another sheet in a different pattern, and this is what I have then added my flowers to.

The flowers around the edge have been cut from another sheet of the DSP, and layered around the page in a way that was pleasing to my eye.

For my "hidden message" area, I have created this element using a folded tag die from the Celebrations Tags Dies (now retired), and these are perfect for keeping your journalling private!

At the end of December LAST YEAR, I made a "resolution" (I really don't like that term!) to spend more time scrapbooking and documenting our adventures like I used to do when the girls were really little, and I have done this sporadically but still nowhere near as much as I would like to, and here we are a whole year later!
