TRIP ACHIEVERS SEPTEMBER BLOG HOP

It's that time of the month again when the Demonstrators who earned the 2022 Incentive Trip gather together to share their creativity.  Sadly, this is my last hop with the trip achievers as I haven't earned the 2023 trip!

I am sharing a project that I truly enjoyed creating with you all so do read on, and at the bottom of this post you will see the full list of Demonstrators taking part today!

If you follow my blog already, you will know I am a big colouring fan and right now the Watercolour Pencils have captured my creativity I have used them to colour in this beautiful mandala style image from the Pretty Medallion Stamp Set.  

 

This image is one of the large background stamps and I although I have only coloured one image, I have used it on two cards by simply cutting it in half!

Keeping the design really simple, I have started by adding the half piece to a Basic White card base above a simple strip of Basic Black card.  

People often comment how vibrant the Watercolour Pencil colours are, even when used without water, and so I had to try them out against a black background!

To remove the white space around the image, I have used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to colour in between the pattern and it creates a really different look to the first one, don't you think?

Now...the all important question, which one is your favourite???

I really can't choose but I it's got me wondering what other colours would be effective???
