Over at this weeks' Global Design Project, the theme is Autumn, and after enjoying making last weeks' Autumnal themed card, here I am again with another card but a totally different style!
This little squirrel from the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set has been on my shelf since this time last year and I can honestly say I have neglected it completely, and I have no idea why as it's just so darn cute!! So for my Autumn themed card, it was the only choice!
And, believe it or not I have cut the leaves that the little squirrel is nesting on from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Papers. These whopper of a pack of papers are only available when you spend more than £150, and are completely FREE when you spend £165!
In the pack, you get 48 sheets of 12" x 12" patterned paper in the brightest of patterns!
Now, this card is more than just your conventional style of card - it has THREE different sections!
You would think all the detail is on the front of the card....
But, actually, there is more as you open it up!
Watch the video below to see how I created this fold out piece using the Dots and Spots Die, and a partial die-cutting technique that is actually a lot easier than you think!
I really like that the sentiment for this card actually sits inside the first fold out section, and those little leaves really look sweet layered underneath it!
And then, lastly there is our inside section where you can write your message down, and I've added the "Happy Birthday" sentiment to bring the whole card together.
