HELLO SEPTEMBER, IT'S TIME FOR SOME AUTUMNAL COLOURING

 Wow it's been a while since I wrote a blog post and as it's the start of September, it's the perfect time! 

Today I am sharing a card with you that I have created with the Fond of Autumn Stamp Set that features in the July to December Mini Catalogue.  The stamp set has a lovely autumnal feel to it and it's perfect for grabbing those Stampin' Blends and doing some colouring.  

The inspiration for this project comes from this week's Global Design Project sketch shown below.  

I have used a selection of green colours for the leaves which I think really sits well with the orange tones.  

For the background layers of this card, I have used Cajun Craze card; the top layer of which has been embossed with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder and added shading with a Blending Brush and Cajun Craze ink.  

I have used a fun technique to add ink to the circles in the background using the Stylish Shapes Dies and a selection of 'orangey' Stampin' Blends.
