SIMPLE LAYOUTS USING DESIGNER SERIES PAPERS

One of mu favourite things about Stampin' Up! is always the gorgeous sets of patterned papers that they give us and in this catalogue we are super lucky!

During this week's YouTube Live session, I have shared 3 simple patterned paper layouts for standard size card fronts.  I have used the stunning Hues of Happiness Designer Series Papers and the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set.  

These templates that I am showcasing across the three cards are a great way of using scraps of patterned paper (I know you like to keep them!) and to showcase a selection of different patterns together!

For the first card design, I have used 2 horizontal strips of very busy patterned paper.  I have started with a piece measuring 9.5cm x 13cm, and cut into 3 strips (measurements listed below), and layered back onto the card in the order they have been cut so as to keep the pattern consistent on the card.  

For the second card, I have used 3 vertical strips of patterned paper.  These pieces are different in pattern and I have added fussy-cut flowers layered under the banner in corresponding colours to bring the card together.  

The third card is the most complex layout of the three cards, and uses 4 different sized pieces of patterned paper arranged on the card front.
