STAMPIN' FOR CHRISTMAS DECEMBER BLOG HOP

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, December 04, 2021

Hello and welcome to the December edition of the Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop!  Grab youself a cuppa, get comfy and spend some time with myself and other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators for a spot of Christmas creativity!

For my project today, I am showcasing the gorgeous, and now reduced Delicate Baubles Dies that will only be available for a limited time while stocks last!

I created all 3 cards shown in today's post during a recent Facebook Live Demonstration which is now available on my Youtube channel to watch back!

For the first card design, I have CASED from the August to December Mini Catalogue (checkout page 40!)

I have kept the colour palette nice and clean with just Shaded Spruce and Basic WhiteTo create the shadow around the edge, I have used a Blending Brush first with Shaded Spruce Ink and then Evening Evergreen Ink.  I love the highlight feature this technique adds to the centre of the card which is just perfect for using with the Delicate Baubles.  Once attached to the card front, I have added a splash of glitter from a Wink of Stella Pen for that added bit of Christmas sparkle!

I have cut both baubles from Basic White Card and layered together before adding to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  To finish, I have added layers of trim for that extra bit of texture!

For the next card, I have used the dies with a combination of patterned paper and card to create my bauble.  "Joy" has been cut from the Playful Alphabet Dies and added to a strip of Basic White Card that I have layered onto the bauble.

The rest of the design has been kept super simple with a hand stamped sentiment and a doodle edge and it brings together a nice clean finished card.

Last but not least, I have created a slimline card, this time with the snowflake detailed bauble die.  I wanted to create a soft look so I have cut the baubles out from Basic White Card, and added my colour with a Blending Brush.  These have then been layered onto Basic White baubles and arranged on the front of my card.

I wanted to create a sentiment that made the card "pop" so I have used White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Basic Black Card, and finished with some black and white twine!

As mentioned earlier, these cards were created during a recent Facebook Live demonstration.  Click the image below to watch the replay! Don't forget to click subscribe on my Youtube channel to see future demonstrations and tutorials from me.
