TRIP ACHIEVERS BLOG HOP NOVEMBER 2021!

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, November 22, 2021

Hello and welcome to the November edition of the Trip Achievers Blog Hop!  Each year, Stampin' Up! offer an "incentive trip" for Demonstrators to work towards and this year I was super excited to have earned my first one!

Going forward, myself and Demonstrators from across the globe who have earned a place on the Incentive Trip will be taking part in a special blog hop showcasing our work!

Each month we will be "hopping" together to share some of our work and the theme is always open.  This really excites me as it means you will get lots of different inspiration each month!  For this month, I am sharing a special project that I made for a fellow Demonstrator friend for achieving so much this year with their Stampin' Up! business!

This project has been designed entirely around the Watercolour Shapes Photopolymer Stamp SetThis set features in the Annual Catalogue and is a firm favourite of mine.  It is a great set for creating your own patterned papers, or for using to create accent images on your projects.

For today's project that I am sharing with you, I have used it with a super fun colour combination that really made me smile.

Starting with the card design, I have layered my piece of patterned paper underneath a piece of Vellum to tone the colours down slightly.  This is a great technique when you want to add another layer of detail over a busy background.

I have added a sentiment cut down into individual word tiles, and a few fussy cut monochrome flowers (from the Pattern Party Designer Series Papers).

And now to talk about the frame....I wanted to create a keepsake item that would remind the recipient of how awesome they are and to hopefully continue inspiring them in their business.

Created with details to match the card design, I have added an uplifting quote that has been heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black Card

I love the addition of the bundle of ribbon which finishes it off perfectly.  I have left the glass out of the frame so that it is has lots of depth and the details don't get squashed in the frame.

I do hope that you find my project inspiring today!  To continue with the hop, click on the icons below.  Don't forget to show other Demonstrators some love with a comment or a share !
