Whilst we're on the subject of Sale-a-Bration I think it's time I share some product inspiration using some of the exclusive FREE products that are available when you shop in August and September.
Today's cards have been made using the DELICATE DAHLIAS STAMP SET that can be yours for FREE when you place an order for £90. It is a whopper of a set with 12 photopolymer stamps that have been designed with the two-step stamping technique in mind.
Both of these cards have been created from a one-sheet wonder where I have stamped all the images using a selection of coordinating colours. I have used the outline images in dark EARLY ESPRESSO INK and added the in-fill images with the colours.
For the first card, I have cut a piece of the one-sheet wonder to measure 10cm x 14cm, and added to a card base cut from BLACKBERRY BLISS CARDSTOCK.
I have kept the sentiment area super simple so as not to take the attention away from the lovely patterned paper created with the stamp set.
I have added a small strip of another FREE product; the BE DAZZLING SPECIALITY PAPER is super sparkly and I have loved using it across a number of recent projects. It's perfect for using as a central part of your projects or using smaller accent pieces for a touch of dazzle!
For the 2nd card design, I have cut smaller strips of the one-sheet wonder (measuring 3cm x 14.4cm) and added to a card base cut from THICK BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK. The trick with this technique is to add the pieces in the order that you have cut them from to show the pattern in the order it was stamped.
I have created a larger sentiment area with a tag cut from the TAILOR MADE TAG DIES and the new KRAFT CARDSTOCK that is available in the AUGUST TO DECEMBER MINI CATALOGUE.
I have added a sentiment from the BIGGEST WISH STAMP SET and flowers that I have stamped and cut from the DELICATE DAHLIAS STAMP SET.
