SHARE IT SUNDAY BLOG HOP

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 27, 2021

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop today.  This is a new hop that I am taking part in for the first time and it's all about...anything we want it to be which is perfect for me to be able to share these two cards that I created this week during a pretty disastrous Facebook Live demonstration (I really do need to invest in a new phone!)  If you were watching...here are the finished cards!

The Hats Off Bundle really did jump off the page for me when I first saw it and it really hasn't disappointed.  The bundle is made up of the Hats Off Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Hat Builder Dies. The bundle is super clever and I love the sentiments within the stamp set.  They are perfect for so many different occasions and people and can coordinate with so many other products in the catalogue.

For the first card, I have paired the bundle with a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  I wanted to create a distressed style hat so I have stamped it with Basic Grey and added ink around the edges with a Sponge Dauber and ink from a Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' PadThe stitching effect really is the best part of the dies and it's so clever how the stamping works with it at the same time.

I have kept the colour palette simple with a touch of Crushed Curry highlighted with the stamping on the hat and the sentiment tag.  Grey and Yellow is a classic colour combination and one of my favourites!

For the second card, I have kept the same technique for the hat but this time added lots of them to my card front!

I have paired the card with the Biggest Wish Stamp Set for my sentiment and kept that lovely colour scheme from the first card.

Now which card design is your favourite?
