Hello and a very warm welcome to another Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop today! For today's hop, Demonstrators have all made projects that have been "CASE'D" from the new 2021/22 Annual Catalogue.
But what does CASE mean? CASE can mean a number of things but for the purpose of my project today, I have taken the meaning "Copy and Selectively Edit". The annual catalogue is an awesome place to go to for inspiration in your crafting and I have used a cute technique with the Turtle Friends Bundle to bring my project together.
If you're not sure how a Blog Hop works, it's super easy to follow. Towards the bottom of each post you will see a "next" image. Once you have finished looking at my post today, scroll to the "next" image and that will move you forward to the next Demonstrator. The idea is to keep going until you get back to where you started!
I have taken inspiration for my project today from page 71 of the catalogue shown in the picture below. This technique is a great way to use up those small pieces of cardstock we like to keep hold of, and a fun way to show an image or a selection of images.
I have taken that technique to showcase the cute turtle characters from the Turtle Friends Stamp Set.
This is a two-step stamp set meaning that the images have been separated so that you have an outline image, and an in-fill. I have actually coloured the turtles in with a Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Pen and added the shell detail with the corresponding stamp with a Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad. I have never stamped over coloured images before but I think it works really well.
And because I couldn't get enough of those cute turtle faces, I have added a little more detail inside the card...
This really is such a useful technique for using in your card making, or scrapbooking even and I'm really chuffed with the final result. What do you think?
I created this card during a recent Facebook Live Demonstration which I have now made available to watch over on my Youtube channel. Click the image below to watch. To see future tutorials and demonstrations from me, click subscribe.
And because I love those cute little characters so much, I have planned a full day's workshop around the Turtle Friends Bundle! Booking is open now for my Summer Creative Day that will be using the Turtle Friends Bundle. As well as receiving a full kit of products to create at least 4 projects, you will have access to step-by-step instructions, video tutorials and stamping techniques to bring it all together. Click the image below to book your place
Click the NEXT image below to hop on over to the next person taking part in today's hop; the lovely Tricia Butts, enjoy!
