GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #GDP297

I really enjoyed playing along with the Global Design Project last week and I was chuffed to receive a special mention for my project!  I'm playing along again this week and it's a colour challenge which is always lots of fun!

I really like the selection of colours chosen this week and although the would be great for using with a floral design, I have used the same Nothing's Better Than Bundle to create a fun card design. Click the image below to see the selection of projects that the design team have shared.  

For the cocktails, I have stamped the outline in Black Memento and added the other colours after with the in-fill stamps.  You will notice that some of the cocktails have a two-tone effect on them.  To create this look, first add Fresh Freesia Ink to the image, and then add Blackberry Bliss Ink using a Sponge Dauber.  

I have added my trio of cocktails to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals and added a touch of ink blending to the background using a Blending Brush and Fresh Freesia Ink.  The cardstock has been embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. 

I have die-cut the word "Cocktails" using the Love You More Dies and the Foam Adhesive Sheets to raise.  The add-on sentiment has been heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black Cardstock.  I love how this makes everything pop and stand out.  

To finish, I have added some Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon and some Artistry Blooms Sequins for a splash of sparkle.
