STAMPERS SHOWCASE MAY BLACK AND WHITE BLOG HOP

 I love me a blog hop!  It's such fun to create for a certain subject or theme and this month was no different.  Today me and the Stampers Showcase team have created projects with the theme of "Black and white" which if you follow me already, you will know is one of my signature colours!

Today I am not sharing a card design with you all but a scrapbook page layout!  Scrapbooking was actually my first taste of papercrafting and it will always have a special place in my heart.  I don't get as much time as I would like to scrapbook these days but it's always fun to do and a great way to memory keep those special photos and milestone moments. 

For my base layer, I have used a piece of the Hand Penned Designer Series Papers and added my two photos. 

Once added, I have added my detail using the flowers from the Flower of Friendship Stamp Set and coloured lightly with a So Saffron Stampin' Blends Pen.  

And that's where the colour stops....and everything else is black and white detailing!

Do you recognise the sentiment that I have used?  That comes from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set too...but I have altered it to fit my layout!

I really love the extra details I have added to this layout and different black and white elements work really well with the pale So Saffron colour and bright white photos.
