I really am quite taken with the new Give It a Whirl Dies and I've had another little play, this time focusing on the clouds dies that are part of this super fun set!
This design was in my head when I had a little play the other day with both the dies and the Count on Me Stamp Set which has the cutest little penguin image in...so I just had to give him a bright blue sky to fly through!
To create the sky background, I have used a piece of Basic White Cardstock and added my Balmy Blue Ink using a Blending Brush, and a piece of torn copy paper!
The clouds have been cut from Basic White Card also and I have added some shimmer with a Wink of Stella Pen.
The penguins have been stamped in Basic Gray and coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. Watch the replay video below to see a really simple technique for adding the penguinds to the card without having to cut out the balloon string!
I used the same technique on the 2nd card but onto a die-cut circle rather than the whole sheet.
As mentioned earlier, I created these cards during a recent Facebook Live demonstration which is now available on my Youtube channel. Don't forget to click subscribe when watching to see future demonstrations and tutorials from me.
