Some stamp sets really do jump off the page at me and in the new Annual Catalogue I must say alot have been jumping up and down really excitedly and so today's project has been used with two sets that I instantly NEEDED!
The two sets that I have used (excitedly) for this card design is the Biggest Wish Stamp Set and the Count on Me Stamp Set. The two sets are incredibly different from one another but I think that's what appeals so much, plus you know that I just cannot resist a cute character which the Count on Me Stamp Set is full of!
I really do love BIG sentiments so the Biggest Wish Stamp Set is like a dream come true. I have had a "newspaper" style card in my head ever since I saw this set and I really like the finished result.
Starting with a piece of Basic White Cardstock, I have repeatedly stamped the "hello" sentiment from Biggest Wish using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad and added a speckled effect with a Basic Black Stampin' Blends pen.
I have kept my colour palette very simple with Basic Black, Basic Grey and Real Red and I love that bright splash of colour against the neutral background.
