USING YOUR ACRYLLIC BLOCKS TO CREATE BACKGROUND IMAGES...AND SOME PARTY PUFFINS!

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 30, 2021

I absolutely love adding cute characters to my cards especially when they are exciting new characters!  For today's card design, I am sharing a BRAND NEW character that Stampin' Up! are giving us in the 2021-22 Annual Catalogue that launches on Tuesday...puffins!

I created this card with a fun background stamping technique inspired by Michelle Last, my lovely friend and upline.

To create the block feature in the background on this card design, I have used an Acryllic Block, added ink and spritzed water onto it before adding to Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and leaving to dry.

The Party Puffin Stamp Set is a brand new product available from the 4th May in the 2021-22 Annual Catalogue and I just love the combination of cute images and fun sentiments that it has to offer.

I created this card during a recent Facebook live demonstration which you can watch back at anytime.  Click the image below to watch on my Youtube Channel.  Don't forget to click subscribe to be notified of future demonstrations and tutorials from me.

I'm often asked what tools do I use...well here are the basic tools that I simply couldn't craft without!

Everyone who shops with me will receive a handmade card to keep or share.  However, when shopping online, enter the Host Code below to receive a thank you gift from me next month

If your order totals more than £150 please do not enter the Host Code. You will be entitled to Stampin' Rewards on your order meaning that you can add additional items to your order for FREE. I will still send you a thank you gift at the end of the month along with your handmade card to keep or share

  1. Adorable Puffin card! What did you use for the "dot & dash" border, it doesn't seem to be listed?
