Dino Days is such a fun stamp set and we will be saying farewell to it at the end of this current catalogue. It coordinates with the Dino Dies and I love making those dinosaurs come to life with different colours and designs.
For this post, I have used a really simple but effective paper piecing technique using strips of coloured cardstock to create bright backgrounds for my cards. You can watch how I created these designs from scratch over on my Youtube channel.
For the first card, I have cut a strip measuring 4.5cm x 14.9cm to use as my background piece and layered one side with a strip of Basic Black Cardstock.
The second card has a strip measuring 5cm x 14.9cm, and layered both sides with Basic Black Cardstock.
For the third card, I have used the Layering Circle Dies to cut two circles and mount together.
And the last card was the remaining piece of paper piecing that I had left over. I have trimmed it down and added a layer of Basic Black Cardstock to mount.
I really enjoyed creating these cards and the paper piecing technique can be used in every colour combination you can think of and for any occasion!
