INK STAMP SHARE APRIL SHOWCASE BLOG HOP

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 10, 2021

Well the snails found the garden a few days ago but now they've moved to the strawberry patch ready for the Ink Stamp Share monthly showcase blog hop!

I have absolutely loved playing with this card design this week and whilst they are a labour of love, I think I need to stop now.

For this card design, I have paired the Snailed It Stamp Set with the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue and don't they look like they're having such fun?!

A very warm welcome to you for today's Blog Hop.  If you are joining the hop here, further down this post you will find the next button to continue through the hop.  Today's theme is...anything we want!

I have really enjoyed creating with the Snailed It Stamp Set this week so it was the perfect choice to showcase today.

I created this card design from a blank piece of Basic White Card and have bought in tones of colour with the Blending Brushes and Stampin' Blends Pens plus some clever stamping techniques for the strawberries.

The starting point for this card was to stamp and colour the gate and fence images from the Grace's Garden Stamp Set (soon to retire!), followed by the strawberry leaves / flowers and then adding the sky / ground colour.

Once the background was complete, I have stamped the strawberries, snails, leaves and flowers onto a separate piece of Basic White Cardcoloured and cut out to then add to the background scene.

And because the card front is super busy, I had to add a little extra detail to the inside....!

I love how this card has turned out and it really was so therapeutic to put it together...which I did during a Facebook Live session!

You can watch the replay of this Facebook live by clicking on the image below.  I have added the replay to my Youtube channel, don't forget to subscribe when you watch to see future demonstrations and tutorials from me!
