HAPPY BIRTHDAY WITH SWEET STRAWBERRY

 Yay we've made it to Friday!

As it's the Easter break for schools at the moment, my craft time has been quite limited but I am excited to share this card design with you that I have created with the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set.

I really held off from ordering the Sweet Strawberry Bundle as I didn't think it was for me...but how wrong was I?!!  I have loved creating with the gorgeous stamps and they are so easy to use and create such lush looking strawberries!

For this card design, I have created by own patterned paper that I have used in the background.  For my strawberries, I have stamped the outline with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and added the infill image with Poppy Parade Ink.  The strawberry tops have been stamped with the black outline, and Old Olive ink for the infill.  Once dry, I have coloured the background of my Basic White Cardstock with a light Pool Party Stampin' Blends pen.  

For the main detail, I have added some ribbon and my sentiment that I have created with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and added two more strawberries (that I have stamped in the same colours and cut out) because why not!

I really felt like this card needed something a bit extra and as I loved creating the patterned paper, I added the same stamping design onto the flap of an Envelope and I think it brings it all together perfectly!

And of course, there is some extra detail on the card inside too...can you tell I was enjoying stamping those strawberries??
