TWO TONE STAMPING WITH SWEET ICE CREAM

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, March 23, 2021

I created this fun surprise pop up card during a Facebook Live demonstration last week and I totally forgot to share it with you!

I have used the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set and the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch along with a clever stamping technique and of course some gorgeous colours!

Starting with a card base cut from Terracotta Tile Card, I have added a layer of Basic White card that I have embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.

I have kept the design on the front very simple with some layered die-cut squares that I have cut from the Layering Squares Dies.

The sentiment has been heat-embossed onto Basic Black card with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and I have trimmed around before attaching it to the card front.

The ice creams are my favourite part of this card and you will notice they appear to have been stamped with two colours!  Well....they have!  To start I have added ink to my stamp with a So Saffron Ink Pad and then using a Sponge Dauber I have added Calypso Coral Ink to the lower part of the image.

The sprinkles have been added after with a specific stamp from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set, and of course I have cut them out using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch

For the cone, I have used the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch to cut out the cone from a piece of the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper

I have added one ice cream to the centre, and another two to the inside of the card on the surprise pop up section.

I really love the way this card looks quite simple but then inside there is the fun pop up element and it really is such a simple card to make!
