THANK YOU BRILLIANT WINGS DIES

 Today is all about thank you cards that I have made with the new Brilliant Wings Dies from the Butterfly Bouquet Collection of products that is available to buy until the 3rd May this year, while stocks last.  The Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Papers have already sold out can you believe!

If you recognise the butterflies on these cards then you will remember that I made them during a recent Facebook Live demonstration using the Watercolour Pencils and a simple water colouring technique.  If you missed it and would like to see how they have been made, click the image below to watch the replay on my Youtube channel. 

Starting with a simple card base cut from Thick Basic White cardstock, I have added a strip of the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Papers and a white die-cut piece from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. 

I have layered the watercolour butterfly underneath the matching detailed die-cut butterfly attaching only in the centre so the wings aren't stuck down. 

I have kept the sentiment super simple with heat-embossing using White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black Cardstock. 

I love the colour combination of these cards, and that all the butterflies are different. If you look closely, the yellow butterfly underneath has actually been cut from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Papers.
