Today I am taking part in the March Stampers Showcase Blog Hop with the theme of Spring has sprung!
Spring is one of my favourite times of the year and it's been lovely using some spring like colours and a fab new stamp set called Springtime Joy which features in the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue.
To create my design I have created my spring scene using the new Blending Brushes to add Balmy Blue Ink for the sky, and Granny Apple Green Ink for the grass.
Across the centre, I have added the white picket fence using a die from the Birthday Chick Dies Set.
All of my images for this card have been stamped using Basic Gray Ink and coloured using Stampin' Blends Pens. The flowers come from the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set and I think they work perfectly with the flowers on the lamb's headband.
To bring my card design together, I have added a heat embossed sentiment and a bow of Linen Thread over a little banner created with the Classic Label Punch.
For the inside of the card, I have added the same layer of Smoky Slate card under a layer of Basic White card and finished with some more flowers.
The Springtime Joy Stamp Set is available through my online store along with all the other items I have used to make this card design.
I created this card during a recent live demonstration. Click the image below to watch the replay on my Youtube channel. Don't forget to click subscribe to see future tutorials from me.
