KEEPING IT SIMPLE WITH THE BUTTERFLY BOUQUET COLLECTION

Today I am sharing a simple card design that I have created with the new Brilliant Wings Dies that are part of the Butterfly Bouquet collection that launched earlier this week. 

When I get a new set of products I always make a start by keeping things as simple as possible.  This new collection of products has alot to it so this was the perfect way to get a feel for it all and see how it comes together.  

Starting with a base of Thick Basic White Cardstock, I have added an extra layer of regular Basic White Cardstock that I have embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. To tone down the white, I have run my Blending Brush across the layer with Pool Party Ink. I have done the same thing to add colour to the die-cut butterfly but added a few more layers of ink to bring the colour out more. For the butterfly, I have added a splash of ink from a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker Pen. 

I have attached the butterfly to a die-cut circle cut from the Stitched Shapes Dies. 

To finish, I have added a heat embossed sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set, trimmed down into a simple banner and added a few Opal Rounds.
