KANGAROO'S ARE EVEN CUTER WHEN THEY "POP UP"

Today I am sharing a card that I designed for a recent team catch up and craft along session using the Kangaroo & Co Bundle of products from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue and a surprise pop up element inside the card!

Fun fold cards are always one of my favourite things to make and when there's a surprise element it's even better!

I created this card design as a make and take project for my monthly team catch up and craft along for March and we all loved how simple it was to put together. 

Starting with a simple C6 card base, I have added a layer of patterned paper and white card.  I have used images from the Kangaroo & Company Stamp Set that I have coloured with a selection of Stampin' Blends to decorate, and added a simple sentiment from the Special Someone Stamp Set which has been heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black Card. 

But the fun element to this card is inside the card!

The pop up element has been created with a few simple score lines and I have kept the theme from the front of the card inside with some more cute kangaroos and little bunches of flowers.  

The sentiment I have used comes from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set and I have added a little bit of ink splatter using a Basic Black Stampin' Blend Pen.
